RR&R welcomes Grace Morrison!!

Sunday, May 19th, 4pm

In a world where we are urged to limit descriptions to hashtags and sound bites it is tempting to describe Grace Morrison as simply: singer-songwriter. But she is so much more. She is pop; she is folk; she is roots; she is country. Hear her music and you’ll be hooked. See her live and you’ll be left wanting more. It has been said that her storytelling “can make you cry; it can make you sing.”

With a career that began as a backup singer for rock icons like Eddie Money and Joey Molland (Badfinger), Grace has become a regular on the national festival and touring circuit. She has won a number of prestigious awards including the Grand Prize of the Eventide Arts Songwriting Competition and the Big Break contest where her music video was played on the season finale of American Idol. Her latest album "Reasons" will be out!!

Accompanying Grace will be violinist Sam Babineau and guitarist John Baptista both adding excellent harmonies.

Rachel Marie to open!

An unapologetically forthright folksinger with songs that hearken to "overstuffed lines of Tori Amos, philosophical turn of Indigo Girls, and lilting vocals like Joni Mitchell." The social awareness of folk meets the introspection of the singer-songwriter tradition with a moderate dose of snark. An endearingly quirky stage presence as honest as her songs keeps audiences charmed. Rachel has shared stages with Cheryl Wheeler, Antje Duvekot, Michelle Lewis, and the Kennedys. Her November 2018 single “Looking for Light” was featured on an officially curated Spotify playlist the week of its release.

RR&R welcomes Scott Wolfson and Other Heroes!!
Sunday, April 14, 2019

Scott Wolfson and Other Heroes have been lighting up stages with their high-energy brand of multifaceted Americana music since 2011. Seamlessly welding folk, blues, country, Broadway, and rock’n’roll into a smart, rootsy, compelling sound, Scott and the band have ridden that sound to two big albums and recognition on festival stages and in listening rooms throughout the Northeast.

With their infectious love of music, lyrical imagery, and Scott’s unconquerable voice soaring above the rich counterpoint laid down by
Kirk, Matt, Mike, Chris, and Skyler, Scott Wolfson and Other Heroes set toes tapping and imaginations humming everywhere they go.

“They’ve kicked it up another notch…. The band continues to mature and even the quieter songs carry a bit more drama.
As the songs continue to spill out of Scott Wolfson’s fertile imagination, they keep getting more infectious and intriguing.”

– Richard Cuccaro, Acoustic Live in NYC

No Depression’s Lee Zimmerman writes, they “...will not only defy the norm, but all expectations as well.”

RR&R welcomes Patrick Fitzsimmons!!
Sunday, December 16, 2018

Singer/Songwriter Patrick Fitzsimmons writes songs that have that rare combination of strong lyrics and strong melody.

When the band broke up in 1999, Patrick moved to Burlington, Vermont and embarked on a solo career. He has been touring the northeast ever since, drawing enthusiastically attentive crowds wherever he plays.

A skilled vocalist, he also plays banjo, ukulele and percussion to augment acoustic guitar and voice.

His latest CD "Bird Tree" just out, features clever songs and catchy tunes along with local voices and instrumentalists.
