Roxbury Library Summer Concert Series 2026
Summertime is meant to be enjoyed outside! The 2026 Summer Concerts at the Gazebos offers great Monday night opportunities to enjoy music. Join us for six outdoor concerts, free to attendees, as we groove to the original music and covers of local singer- songwriters. All Monday night performances are at 6:30pm, and if mother nature interferes, a rain date will be announced.
June 15, 2026 - E’lissa Jones
E’lissa Jones is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist blending folk and rock with powerful melodies and lyrics. With 250+ original songs, she’s been performing and composing since childhood.

E'lissa Jones is a beautiful singer, prolific songwriter, violinist, pianist, and guitarist. She is an exceptionally talented artist with a wide range whose songs embrace audiences with powerful melodies and expressive lyrics. Influential styling ranges from folk to rock in her catalogue of over 250 original songs. Born into a musically gifted family, E'lissa began singing and playing piano around the age of five. Jones wrote her first song at the age of seven and began studying violin at the age of ten. By eleven, she was writing love songs and short classical works for violin and piano. While classically trained as a violinist, E'lissa is largely self-taught as a vocalist, pianist, guitarist, and the many other instruments she performs with.

June 22,2026 - Loretta Hagen Band
Loretta Hagen is an award-winning NJ singer-songwriter known for heartfelt, socially conscious songs and a soulful voice. She’s performed widely and released four acclaimed albums.

Loretta Hagen is a multi-award-winning singer songwriter based out of NJ. Her music is described as heart tugging, social conscious, fun, with poignant lyrics and catchy melodies sung with a soothing whiskey toned voice. Loretta has performed in many prestigious venues such as The Outpost In The Burbs, Music At The Mission, Turning Point Cafe, Town Crier, Sellersville Theater, as well as many music festivals, and shared the stage with well-known artists such as Pete Seeger, John Gorka, Roger McGuinn, Johnny Winter, Kim Richie, to name a few. Her husband Gary is her music partner and described by fans as an extremely tasteful guitarist and producer. Both cut their teeth in Nashville for a number of years as well as the east coast. Loretta has released four critically acclaimed CDs that have been widely received by college and Indie radio shows across the country and Europe.

July 13, 2026 - Alex Radus and Friends
Alex Radus blends Americana, swing, blues, & folk with witty, poignant songwriting. A 2024 Falcon Ridge Emerging Artist, he’s toured widely, released albums, & earned acclaim across radio, TV, & film.

Alex Radus is known as a “versatile crooner” (UMC Nashville) and “skillful fretman” (Morning Call), but his songwriting takes center stage. Known affectionately for his unique brand of “genre whiplash”, Radus pairs whimsical and poignant storytelling with an eclectic mix of Americana, swing, blues, folk and more. Radus hails from Pennsylvania’s artistically rich Lehigh and Delaware river valley region, where he has established himself as one of the area’s premiere original music artists. Most recently, he was selected as a 2024 Falcon Ridge Folk Fest Emerging Artist and voted a “Most Wanted” artist to return to the Main Stage in 2025. Radus has toured extensively, recorded multiple albums, and earned awards, nominations and critical acclaim for his songwriting, recording and performing. His music has been featured on radio, TV and film, including Adolescence, directed by Ashley Avis (Black Beauty).

July 27,2026 - Shanna in a Dress
Shanna in a Dress delivers witty, candid songs blending humor and heartbreak. A quirky storyteller in the vein of John Prine and Ingrid Michaelson, she brings an emotional, entertaining ride.

Shanna in a Dress is your quirky best friend who refuses to wear pants. She says what everyone has felt but no one else will say and you'll get an uncensored journey of clever humor and heartbreak, extreme candor, and a hefty side of entertainment at her shows. This witty wordsmith is known for taking you on an emotional roller coaster, sometimes within the same song. Think John Prine mixed with Ingrid Michaelson with a twist of Phoebe Buffay from Friends all wrapped up in a sweet voice accented by guitar, piano, and ukulele. She's as real as it gets, as anyone who follows her on FB or Instagram knows.
